Dispensation From Bishop Larry Silva Bishop Larry Silva has extended the dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass through the month of December. For those with health concerns, we encourage you to continue to view our Masses via our live streams.
Confessions We are once again offering confession between 4 -5 pm on Saturdays. Because we still cannot use the confessional, we will have a priest available in the Parish Pastoral Center. Sign in at the front of the church and an usher will instruct you where to sit. Observe social distancing while you wait. Confessions by appointment is still an option.
Religious Education Classes To Begin Religious Education classes will begin on Sunday, November 8 from 9:45 -10:45 am. The students will be temperature checked. Hand sanitizing, and wearing a mask at all times is mandatory. Registration is still ongoing. Forms are online and can be filled out and emailed back to the office. Please complete the registration thoroughly. If you have any questions, please call the parish office and leave a message for Pam Falasco.
Help Wanted: Religious Education Teacher We are in need of a 5th grade teacher for Religious Education. If you are interested or feel a calling to share your gifts and talent, please contact Pam Falasco at the parish office.
Second Collection for Retired Diocese of Honolulu Priests
Next week we will be holding a second collection for the retirement fund for the Diocesan priests of Honolulu. This collection is different from the annual collection for Religious Retirement. Please support our retired Diocesan priests who do not receive any income and need our support to provide sustenance, housing, medical insurance and other needs. Please be generous.
Fraudulent Emails There have been several fraudulent emails going around that appear to be from Fr Santhosh. Some ask for gift cards or money, others ask to reply to the email for “assistance with something.” Please do not respond to these emails. If you receive an email or text message from any priest and you are unsure if it is genuine, feel free to call the parish office to verify if it is real.
There are two fliers on the parish bulletin board and website with helpful tips on how to detect email and internet scams. These were sent to us by the Diocese. Please be cautious.
