Special Mahalos to Gerry Silva, AARP president and Scott Spalina, Deputy Prosecutor Attorney for sharing their knowledge and expertise with our community. “Mahalo” also to AARP, Project Dana and OLGC and the many volunteers for helping to make the “Scam Jam” workshop so successful. There is no doubt that many of the participants will avoid being victims of the scammers and fight back by sharing this knowledge with family and friends.
“Christmas in July”
Thank you to our OLGC Youth who made and beautifully decorated special cards and gifts to celebrate “Christmas in July” with our OLGC Private Homebound and Care Home Residents. The youths will also join our Ohana Homebound Ministry as we carol and give their gifts scheduled for Saturday, July 2 5, between 9:00am and 10:30am.
