The school held the annual Celebration of Veterans on November 14th! The community had the pleasure of
honoring Veterans and service men and women. Some of the veterans we honored are OLGC parishioners and the
students were very excited to share with the honorable people we are connected to. This third-annual school event is
the perfect opportunity for students to share thanks with men and women who have committed to service. The special
occasion began with Mass, which was celebrated by Father Joseph. The morning continued with a program of letters,
poetry, and readings of essays by students of all grade levels. Preschoolers opened with singing the National anthem and
the entire group concluded with singing God Bless the U.S.A. The event was followed by a fellowship breakfast where
the veterans gathered with the company of fellow veterans a their family members, and were surrounded by special
mementos made by the students. The school looks forward to this annual event to respect these wonderful role models.
OLGC School salutes men and women who serve!
