Bishop Larry Silva will preside over a special Mass of Thanksgiving on Saturday, October 11, 10:00 a.m., at the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Peace in downtown Honolulu. The Mass will be celebrated in gratitude that our Cathedral has been given the honor of being a minor basilica. It will also commemorate the fifth anniversary of St. Damien's canonization.

The Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Peace serves as the seat of the diocese and the spiritual home for St. Damien's and St. Marianne's relics. A hosted lunch will follow Mass.
