On behalf of Our Lady of Good Counsel Stewardship Committee, I would like to extend a sincere thank you to Fr. Pascual, Msgr. Ted, Fr. Rex, Deacon Tom, Deacon Efrain, Ministry coordinators and members and parishioners for your continued prayers and unfailing support for all the Stewardship programs and events that have transpired not only in the past months but all throughout the years.
“Stewardship is a way of life.” It has always been our way of life here at OLGC. I cannot begin to mention the countless volunteers who generously share their God-given time and talents to make OLGC what it is today, a vibrant parish community. Thank you to all of you whether you work quietly behind the scenes or those who are visible to many of us. Thank you for all your sacrifices by fulfilling your commitment as stewards of God’s gifts.
As we wind down the Lay Witnessing Talk this month, let me express my heartfelt appreciation to all who participated in the Lay Witnessing Talk by graciously accepting, with no hesitation, the challenge of sharing their inspiring stories to all of us. It is through testimonies like these that motivate parishioners to consider involvement in ministries.
Thank you to all of you who contributed to the success of the Ministry Fair held in September. It was a great turn out. Attendees learned of the many ministries and programs our Parish offers, reconnected with acquaintances and made new friends. Thank you, in a special way, to those who responded to the call of Stewardship and are now members of various ministries.
Thank you to our beloved priests and deacons for your uplifting homilies on Stewardship.
Lastly, our prayers are with you to those who are discerning to the call of sharing your God-given time and talents with others. It is our hope that you will consider responding to the call of Stewardship and experience the benefits of giving back what God has given you.
“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many acts of thanksgiving to God.” (2 Corinthians 9:11-12)
God bless all of you. (Bernadette V. Cabe, Stewardship Committee)
