Faith Formation Conference ~ 2012
From Jayne Mondoy Director, Office of Religious Education
“Christ is the Light of nations” May we gather together in the Holy Spirit To bring the light of Christ to all men. A light brightly visible on the countenance of the Church.
“Christ, Our Light” is the theme of this year’s Conference. Inspired by Lumen Gentium, the conference sessions are intended to give participants a new pulse of vitality, and a renewed spirit of communion and participation as we prepare for the Year of Faith. The Church described in Lumen Gentium is a Church rich in life: a Church which, far from withdrawing into herself is opening up with greater energy: a Church which must bring the Gospel to the world.
Therefore, the Conference is for everyone ~ not only teachers ~ we offer educational experiences for those in all ministries, all ages, and all walks of life. When:
Thursday, June 21, 6 to 9pm (Youth Night)
Friday, June 22, 2 to 5pm & 6 to 9pm
Saturday, June 23, Morning Mass Celebration & Learn-ing Sessions, 8am to 1pm
Where: St. Joseph Parish & School
94-651 Farrington Highway, Waipahu
