SCHOOL NEWS - OLGC SCHOOL ALUMNUS MAX SPENCER.

February 26, 2018My name is Maxwell Spencer. I attended Our Lady of Good Counsel School for 9 years and graduated in 2015. I am also a Junior Assistant Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 326, which is sponsored by Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. My 2 brothers and I also serve in the Altar Server Ministry for the church.The important life lesson my parents, teachers at school and the priests at OLGC instilled in me is the importance the 3 T’s: Time, Talent and Treasure. I knew I wanted my Eagle Scout project to be to improve the surrounding church grounds. Last March, my troop and I painted and added non-skid tape to the stairways around the church for the safety of the parishioners.Last November, I achieved the highest rank of Eagle Scout. Iam grateful to our unit sponsor Laurie Munoz and Father Pascual for their support in helping me in this achievement. Since the Lord has abundantly blessed me, I know that I should give back to my church community.
