Catholic Charities Hawaii serves homebound and elders age 60 and older. Many of our elderly live alone or are alone most of the day and are in need of someone to visit them on a regular basis. In addition to friendly visits, help with grocery shopping, and escort service to doctor visits and other pre-approved destinations are available. If you would like these services provided to you , or know of someone who wishes these services, contact Catholic Charities Program Volunteer Coordinator, Maureen Caracciolo at 527-4780. All services provided by our volunteers are free of charge.
We as a Parish would like to express our Aloha and Welcome to Bishop Larry Silva for his episcopal visit. As I had been mentioning in the past articles of our parish bulletin, Bishop Larry is coming to be with us on the weekend of September 12-13. This visit will give our bishop time to meet with parish leaders, parishioners and youth and young adult of our parish. It will be a great opportunity for all of us to meet with him and get to know our Bishop of our Diocese. It is a very rare occasion to have this visit that is why I am encouraging every parishioner to take a time off especially after the 11:00 AM Mass... Click to view schedule
