Great Aloha Walk ? President?s Day on Feb 17, 2014

Despite the rain on President's holiday, members and families of the Our Lady of Good Counsel Filipino Ministry volunteered* to pass out water to the thousands of runners and walkers participating in the Great Aloha Run. This involved reporting for duty at 5:30 a.m. under the airport viaduct near Holy Family School setting up tables and cups of water, cheering the racers on and cleaning up after the last of them passed by at around 9:30 a.m. This is just one of the many community outreach programs OLGC Filipino Ministry is involved in.
